Amidst discussions about the future of young royals, royal expert Richard Eden has sparked speculation about Prince George’s potential path.
Drawing inspiration from Princess Leonor of Spain, Eden took to Twitter to express his wish that Prince George, the eldest son of Kate Middleton and Prince William, might consider a military education similar to that of Princess Leonor.
Sharing images of Princess Leonor on her first day at military school, Eden’s tweet conveyed hope:
“I hope Prince George will follow the example of Princess Leonor, the future queen of Spain, and train in the military when the time comes.”
I hope Prince George will follow the example of Princess Leonor, the future queen of Spain, and train in the military when the time comes. Today was her first day of training #royal https://t.co/pxGTZjPZMj

He also marked the day’s significance by noting that it was Princess Leonor’s inaugural training day.
Princess Leonor, aged 17, is the heir to the Spanish throne, obliged to undertake three years of military training by established tradition, aligning with her father, King Felipe’s footsteps.
This discussion gains momentum in light of reports suggesting that Prince George, next in line for the British throne after his father, Prince William, might veer from centuries-old royal customs.
Speculation arises from a royal historian’s claim that the future monarch might not engage in military service before ascending the throne.
