Selena’s Style and Silver Screen Surprise: Gomez Shines at Rare Beauty Event

Selena Gomez, the pop sensation and founder of Rare Beauty, stole the spotlight on January 10 at an event showcasing her beauty brand’s new Find Comfort Body Collection.

The star, adorned in a pristine all-white ensemble, effortlessly blended high fashion with affordable chic.

Gomez donned a sophisticated suit from Giuseppe Di Morabito’s spring 2024 collection, complemented by silver Black Suede Studio strappy heeled sandals, the Jaala Nano Rhinestone Clutch by Cult Gaia, and the Gaia wool-blend coat by The Frankie Shop.

However, the pièce de résistance was her white lace corset top, a steal at just $70 from Victoria’s Secret.

Adding a touch of glamour, Gomez accessorized with a stunning 14K white gold diamond tennis necklace from Effy Jewelry, valued at an eye-watering $16,655.

The combination of high and low fashion showcased Gomez’s impeccable style and relatable elegance.

In a surprising turn of events, on the same day as the beauty event, news broke that Gomez is set to play the legendary Linda Ronstadt in an upcoming biopic.

Gomez had subtly hinted at the role earlier, sharing photos of Ronstadt and quoting her in August 2023.

The confirmation came when Gomez posted herself reading Ronstadt’s memoir, Simple Dreams, on Instagram, leading to Rolling Stone breaking the casting news.

Linda Ronstadt, an icon in rock, country, and Latin music, boasts 11 Grammy Awards, with hits like “You’re No Good” and “I’m Still in Love with You.”

The biopic is in pre-production and is co-produced by Ronstadt’s manager, John Boylan, and James Keach. Additional casting details and a release date are yet to be announced.

This venture into the silver screen is not Ronstadt’s first, as a documentary, “Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of my Voice,” released in 2019, followed by “Linda and the Mockingbirds” in 2020 by James Keach.

As Selena Gomez continues to shine both in the fashion spotlight and the film industry, fans eagerly anticipate her portrayal of the legendary Linda Ronstadt.
