Princess Diana’s Last Phone Call: Heartfelt Moments with Sons Before Tragedy

The poignant last phone call between Princess Diana and her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, on the fateful night before her tragic accident has been revealed.

The former Princess of Wales, who maintained a bond with her sons despite her divorce from King Charles, often engaged in telephone conversations with them.

In an ITV documentary titled “Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy,” Prince Harry shared his emotions about the short conversation, saying,

“I can’t necessarily remember what I said but all I do remember is regretting for the rest of my life how short the phone call was. If I’d known that that was the last time I was going to speak to my mother, the things I would have said to her.”

Reflecting on the call, Prince Harry expressed his deep sense of loss,

“Looking back at it now — it’s incredibly hard. I have to deal with that for the rest of my life: not knowing that it was the last time I’d speak to my mum, how differently that conversation would have panned out if I’d had even the slightest inkling that her life was going to be taken that night.”

Prince William also shared his memories of the call, describing it heavily. He recounted, “The very last memory I have is a phone call from Balmoral. At the time, Harry and I were running around, minding our own business, playing with our cousins and having a very good time.”

  1. THE REASON HARRY HAS REGRETS ABOUT THAT TELEPHONE CALL IS, THAT HE CUT THIS TELEPHONE CALL SHORT SAYING “I AM PLAYING AND HAVING A GOOD TIME!” WHEREAS WILLIAM SPOKE TO HIS MOTHER! IT WAS HARRY’S CHOICE, HE CAN’T TURN THE CLOCK BACK!! A VERY BIG MISTAKE OF HIS!!
