Prince Harry’s Protective Gesture: Warning to Meghan About Iconic Taj Mahal Photo

In a glimpse into their budding romance, a surprising anecdote has emerged involving Prince Harry and his then-girlfriend Meghan Markle during her visit to India for humanitarian work.

According to reports, the Duke of Sussex warned Meghan before her trip to India, showing his protective side.

As detailed by Mirror, the former Suits star embarked on a solo journey to India as part of her commitment to humanitarian efforts.

However, Prince Harry advised her against taking a photo before the iconic Taj Mahal, a landmark closely associated with his late mother, Princess Diana.

People Magazine revealed that shortly after the initiation of their romance in January 2017, Meghan partnered with World Vision, a humanitarian aid foundation, and embarked on a visit to Delhi and Mumbai.

In his memoir “Spare,” Prince Harry candidly shares,

“Do not take a photo in front of the Taj Mahal. She’d asked why and I’d said: My mum. I’d explained that my mother had posed for a photo there, and it had become iconic, and I didn’t want anyone thinking Meg was trying to mimic my mother. Meg had never heard of this photo, and found the whole thing baffling, and I loved her for being baffled.”
