King Charles Faces Backlash: ‘Terrible Mistake’ with Meghan and Harry Undermines Monarchy

A storm of criticism surrounds Britain’s King Charles as royal expert Tom Bower issues a stern warning that the monarchy’s credibility has been ‘undermined’ by a ‘terrible mistake’ related to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

According to Bower, who shared his insights with the Daily Express, Prince Harry and Meghan’s departure as working royals in 2020 set a chain of events that have significantly impacted the monarchy.

He asserts that King Charles should have taken decisive action by cutting ties with the couple immediately after their decision.

Bower further contends that King Charles’s failure to promptly sever ties extended to their children, Archie and Lilibet, by allowing them the titles of Prince and Princess. He argues that this decision should have been avoided to maintain the monarchy’s integrity.

The royal biographer’s stance is unwavering. He asserts, “And he shouldn’t have invited Harry to the coronation. He should have just cut them off.”

These critiques come in the wake of a recent move by the royal family to remove Prince Harry’s HRH title from their official website. The decision to distance the family from the couple reflects the ongoing tensions surrounding their departure.

Bower’s observations highlight the pivotal moment in 2021 when Meghan, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, alluded to experiencing racism within the royal family.

According to Bower, this incident served as the catalyst that ignited a chain reaction of discord and led to the present state of affairs.
