Kate Middleton’s Empathy Shines at Wimbledon: Heartfelt Encouragement for Ons Jabeur

In a touching display of sportsmanship and compassion, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, offered heartfelt words of encouragement to Ons Jabeur after her Wimbledon defeat against Marketa Vondrousova.

As the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Kate was there to hand Jabeur the runners-up trophy and to offer her support.

When asked about what Kate said to her after the match, Ons revealed, “Same thing after last year. To encourage me to be strong, to come back and win a Grand Slam, win a Wimbledon. Obviously she was very nice.”

This gesture from Kate uplifted Jabeur and emphasized the importance of resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

Later, Kate took to social media to further support the talented tennis player.

In her post, she commended Ons Jabeur’s performance: “And Ons Jabeur, you can keep your head held high after a tournament to be proud of.”

Jabeur, clearly touched by Kate’s compassion, shared that she had a heartwarming exchange with the Princess.

After her disheartening loss in the Wimbledon final, Jabeur humorously recalled, “She didn’t know if she wants to give me a hug or not. I told her hugs are always welcome from me. That was a very nice moment and she’s always nice to me.”
