Julia Roberts Opens Up About Choices, Feminism, and Family Ties in Exclusive Vogue Interview

In a recent exclusive interview with Richard Curtis for her British Vogue cover debut, Hollywood icon Julia Roberts candidly shared her thoughts on women’s empowerment and the choices she has made in her illustrious career.

When asked about her sense of “responsibility to other women” in the film industry, the actress, often hailed as ‘America’s sweetheart,’ responded thoughtfully.

My G-rated career…You know, not to be criticizing others’ choices,” she began before adding, “but for me to not take off my clothes in a movie or be vulnerable in physical ways is a choice that I guess I make for myself.”

During the interview, Roberts, best known for her roles in classics like “Pretty Woman” and “Erin Brockovich,” made an unexpected revelation.

She disclosed that she shares blood ties with none other than Dr. Henry Gates, a renowned feminist icon. The revelation didn’t stop there, as she added with a touch of humour, “I am DNA cousins with Gloria Steinem.”
