Judge Dismisses Prince Harry’s Allegation Against Buckingham Palace, Trial Set for January

A dramatic twist unfolds in Prince Harry’s legal battle against News Group Newspapers as a judge dismisses his allegation of a secret deal between Buckingham Palace and newspaper executives.

The Duke of Sussex had claimed that the covert agreement prevented him from bringing his case sooner.

The court ruled that the alleged deal was “implausible” and rejected Harry’s bid to use it as the reason for his late claim.

Consequently, the phone-hacking aspect of the duke’s claim was struck out due to the statute of limitations.

However, the judge allowed the rest of Harry’s case to proceed, which includes allegations of being targeted by illegal activities like information “blagging” by private investigators.

The trial is scheduled for January when these remaining claims will be thoroughly examined.
