James Gunn Begins Audition Process for Superman’s New Clark Kent and Lois Lane

The search for the new Clark Kent and Lois Lane has begun! James Gunn, known for directing the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and the upcoming The Suicide Squad, is now looking for the next pair of actors to bring the beloved characters to life in the forthcoming Superman film.

As reported by various sources, Gunn has already started watching auditions to find the perfect fit for the roles. The film, titled Superman: The Legacy, is said to be a standalone film separate from the current DC Extended Universe and will focus on a young Clark Kent as he first discovers his powers and becomes Superman.

While no official casting announcements have been made, fans have already started speculating and suggesting their picks for the roles. For Clark Kent, names like Armie Hammer, Nicholas Hoult, and Sam Claflin have been thrown around. At the same time, actresses like Lily Collins, Emma Stone, and Alexandra Daddario have been suggested for Lois Lane.

But who will ultimately be chosen for the roles? Only time will tell. One thing is for sure, though – whoever is chosen will have big shoes to fill, as iconic actors have previously played both roles. Christopher Reeve famously portrayed Superman in the original film franchise, while Margot Kidder played Lois Lane.

Gunn’s take on the Superman mythos is highly anticipated by fans, especially after the success of his previous superhero films. It remains to be seen whether he will stick to the traditional Superman origin story or put his spin on it.

As the auditions continue and the search for the perfect Clark Kent and Lois Lane intensifies, fans can only wait and hope for the best. But one thing is sure – the future of Superman on the big screen is looking bright with James Gunn at the helm.
