Harry and Meghan’s Oversharing: Turning Themselves into Public Property

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found themselves in the headlines more than ever, and it seems they may have brought it upon themselves.

According to royal expert Daniela Elser, the couple’s confessional ventures have led to wild and less credible news circulating in the media.

Among the tales making the rounds, one suggests that Meghan has taken up residence in a hotel suite near the talent agency representing her, WME.

Another story speculates that the couple is considering a move from their Montecito home to Malibu to be closer to a more substantial crowd of A-listers.

Amidst the speculation about the Sussexes returning to the UK’s Royal Family, there’s even an alleged claim that Prince William would fund them if they pursued such plans.

Elser argues that the sudden influx of sensational stories can be attributed to the couple’s actions, including their high-profile Oprah Winfrey interview, the Netflix docu-series “Harry & Meghan,” and Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir, “Spare.”

“The duke and duchess, especially with ‘Harry & Meghan,’ opened up their story and their homes and exposed their children, their dogs, their friends, and even family to the world to a degree that is totally unprecedented,” Elser pointed out.

While it’s not unusual for the royals to face speculative reporting, Harry and Meghan’s confessional, money-making projects have taken it to a new level.

Their openness and vulnerability have made them public property to an extent never seen before in the royal family.

While Prince Charles and Princess Diana had also given revelatory interviews, they pale compared to the scale of disclosure witnessed by the Sussexes.
