Contrasting Royal Treatment: Prince Andrew Shamed, Meghan and Harry Praised

In the realm of British tabloids and royal family supporters, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to attract constant criticism, with little praise for their charitable endeavors in the US.

On the other hand, Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth’s second son, continues to enjoy appearances alongside senior royals at significant events, despite controversies surrounding him.

As the royal family heads to their Scottish retreat at Balmoral Castle, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle find themselves excluded from the gathering.

In contrast, Prince Andrew and his partner, Sarah Ferguson, are expected to join the family in Scotland before the king’s arrival.

Surprisingly, while Prince Andrew faces public scrutiny, the royal family’s official website still shames him. Meanwhile, even Meghan and Harry receive recognition for their philanthropic work.

On the official royal family website, the statement about Prince Andrew reads:

“On 13 January 2022, Buckingham Palace made a statement regarding The Duke of York. With The Queen’s approval and agreement, The Duke of York’s military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to The Queen. The Duke will continue not to carry out public duties.

This followed a previous statement in November 2019, where The Duke of York stepped back from his public duties for the foreseeable future.

Before stepping back from public life, The Duke of York undertook a wide range of general work, with a solid economic and business focus.”
