Heard also acknowledged that her publicized defamation trial against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, has intensified the pressure she faces.

She admitted, “There’s a lot of noise around me right now. But I try to block it out as much as I can and focus on the work.”

Despite the challenges and distractions, Heard remains focused and determined to give her best to the film.

Confident in the quality of their work, Heard stated, “I’m really proud of the work we did. I think it’s going to be a great movie.”

The talented James Wan directed the sequel features a star-studded cast including Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating its release on March 17, 2023.

However, alongside the pressure to deliver a successful movie, Heard is also facing calls from some fans who have petitioned for her to be recast as Mera.

The petition on Change.org has amassed over 4.5 million signatures.

Despite this, Heard remains resolute, denying all abuse allegations against Depp and emphasizing her determination to continue her acting career.
